The Basics of 360 Metal Building Design

Our Building Dimensions on the design program are Width by Length by Side Leg height. We recommend not going any lower than 7′ /8 side leg height.

Our Standard roof pitch for the buildings/covers, etc. is a standard 3/12 roof pitch UNLESS it’s a Lean to, then it is 2/12. Customization is available depending on the size.

Any pitch over a 3/12 is an upcharge (up to 7/12)

Our Standard gauge for frame is 14 gauge and sheet metal is 29 gauge

12 gauge and 26 gauge are upgrades

Permits may be required in certain areas (most areas are not required but it is always best to check with your city unless the site is outside city limits.)

If Site specifics are required there may be an added cost.
This typically happens if you are in an area where you need a permit to build and these plans are designed for your building only. 

360 Metal Buildings offers concrete supports on Most RV Covers. 

Typically the same gauge tubing of 8′ is used by digging a hole @ 3′ in and pouring concrete in for additional support. Then it connects to the leg post. 

Add ons are available as long as the material is the same. 

With any add on you must know that it is not a guaranteed build. Our install crews will do their best. Also colors may not be an exact match. 

Galvanized screws and White doors are industry standard, but you may choose a color door upgrade or screw upgrade for additional fees.

The Width goes every 2′ and length every 5′, but sometimes due to space restrictions you may have to customize. You have peace of mind in knowing that we are here to give you comprehensive guidance to ensure the measurements and specs are precise. 

360 Metal Buildings offers 3 Roof Styles:

Regular
The metal runs horizontal from front to back up to a 35′ length

A-Frame (also known as box eve style)

Vertical (We strongly recommend this roof style for frames over 35′ in length)

You may make changes on your order up to the time that an installation date is given by your scheduler.

We carry rebar, concrete bolt anchors, asphalt anchors, mobile home anchors, and concrete supports.

**Concrete supports are strongly recommended for high wind areas, for projects with side heights over 8′ and on pavilion style structures.

No, you may provide your own doors and windows. Our install crews can install those for you for additional fees. Those fees are at the discretion of the install crew and paid separately. But you will provide dimensions for and pay 360 Metal Buildings for each frame out. 

We only offer Radiant barrier R-16 ( mostly used for condensation/ Heat radiant barrier) but we do work with trade partners who provide those additional services like Spray Foam Insulation, etc. 

The lift is required when you are building a commercial truss, when you have multiple frame outs on the side wall, or when your building is 15′ and over. But, you need not worry. Our design program will get you to the finish line with all the right specifications.
